Embedding a google doc in a Post Assignment

To embed a google doc in a post do the following:

1.  Log into your google account.
2.  Go to your Google Drive, click drive
3.  Open your Google Doc
4.  Publish your google doc (select file-publish to the web)
5.  Dialog box will open with embed code, copy it
6.  Create your blog post
7.  Switch to HTML mode
8.  Paste your embed code

Embedding Slideshow In A Post Using PicasaWeb Assignment


Instructions for to Embed a slideshow:
1.  Click on  https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/myphotos?noredirect=1
2.  upload photos to the album you wish to have photos in.
3.  When finished, click Embed Slideshow on the right.  Change size to 400px and copy the Embed Slideshow code.
4.  Go to post on blog and past the code as an html.


Embedding a Google Calendar in a Post

Instructions on how to do this and issues I faced:
1.  Go to your google email
2.  Go to My Calendar and type in "Create New Calendar"
3.  Write a new calendar name and make sure you make it public.
4.  Choose the calendar you want and choose "embed this calendar" and copy the code.


Issue, change width to 90 % to make it fit.

Writing Ideas

  Great Writer's WRITE EVERY day!  It is powerful to share the kinds of writing we do with each other!  We will be writing every day IN class and for homework every night!  Please comment on  the writing you share to help others with ideas!

Real World Mathematics!

Math is all around us!  In your house, around your neighborhood, there are patterns everywhere!  What patterns do you see?  Share your observations below.
Butterfly's are a great example of mathematical symmetry.  Each wing is a mirror image of the other.
